Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to My Pro Movers. By booking our services, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully as they outline the rights and responsibilities of both parties.


2. Services Provided

My Pro Movers offers the following services:

  • Residential (household) removals within the UK

  • Select commercial relocation services

  • Collection of items within Cambridge and delivery to any UK location

Note: We do not offer international moving services or pick-ups from outside of Cambridge.


3. Payment Terms

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Cash

  • Bank transfers

  • Debit and credit cards

All payments must be completed before or at the time of service unless previously agreed in writing.


4. Insurance and Liability

All items moved within the UK are insured while in transit. We handle all possessions with care, however:

  • Claims for damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Insurance covers the actual value of the goods moved (not sentimental or indirect losses).

  • We are not liable for damage caused by inadequate packing by the customer.


5. Booking and Cancellations

  • All bookings must be confirmed in advance.

  • Changes must be communicated at least 48 hours prior to service.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled move may incur a cancellation fee.


6. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth moving experience, customers must:

  • Provide accurate details about the size and nature of the items.

  • Ensure clear access at both pick-up and delivery addresses (including parking permits if required).

  • Properly pack all items unless packing services have been arranged with us.


7. Items Not Permitted

We cannot transport the following:

  • Hazardous or illegal materials

  • Live animals

  • Perishable goods (unless agreed upon in writing)


8. Delays and Unforeseen Circumstances

My Pro Movers will do everything possible to complete your move on time. However, we are not responsible for delays due to:

  • Traffic or adverse weather

  • Road closures

  • Events beyond our control (e.g., mechanical issues, strikes)


9. Limitations on Service

  • We do not offer international moving services

  • Pick-up services are limited to locations within Cambridge


10. Complaints

11. Changes to Terms
